How can my customers access the help provided by RealTime Aide?

With RealTime Aide, Web site visitors simply click the "chat request" button on your Web pages to initiate a real-time chat with a company's designated helper. There is no need to make a phone call, send e-mail, or end the Internet connection in order to establish one-on-one interaction.

Is RealTime Aide easy to use?

RealTime Aide is very easy and user-friendly for both customers and helpers. RealTime Aide utilizes a simple point-and-click interface with intuitive text dialogue boxes. Instructions are clear, concise, and easy to understand.

What does my license fee actually buy?

The license fee entitles your site (www.mycompany.com) to unlimited "seats" on the RealTime Aide Personal Edition software. These seats will accommodate any of the helpers at your company who may take turns handling customer questions and requests.  With two or more active chats, the helper can see all of the conversations, but the site visitors can only see their own chat with your helper, not what your helper is telling others.

Can I profile visitors?

As a "helper" you will be able to see when people are moving within your web site. There are two indicators, one showing a set of flashing "lights" indicating movement between pages, the other is the "domain name" list. When a new visitor enters your web site and opens a page with a RealTime Aide button on it, his server name is logged and presented to you on the spot. If he is on what is called a "named" server, you will be presented with a hyper linked domain name, i.e. "dupont.com", or "aol.com". Un-named servers only show a string of numbers like, 205.234.45.19 and cannot be resolved to a specific company's domain name.

What can I do with a conversation when it's complete?

We include full facilities to allow you to annotate and send your conversation to anyone via email. Part of our standard package is an address book where you can add your frequently used email addresses for agents, reps, even your secretary. Anyone you would want to copy on that contact.

Is RealTime Aide secure?

Yes. In brief, all "chats" that you have with a customer through RealTime Aide are removed when you, the helper, elect to close that chat window. No copies are kept on your server.

Is RealTime Aide cost-effective?

At only $200 per domain or sub-domain, RealTime Aide is inexpensive and easy to install and maintain.  There are no monthly fees, no banner ads, ever - you buy it, you own it.  It's that simple.
