MaxStat Licensing

License

The MaxStat licensing system is meant to be very simple. For each computer running a copy of MaxStat, one license is required.

Often times users will have one copy of MaxStat running on a server performing Automatic Hang-up operations, and another copy on a workstation simply for usage monitoring.

In this instance, two licenses of MaxStat would be required.

Home License

In some cases MaxStat users would like to have a copy of MaxStat on a home machine. Since we know that System Administration often never ends at the office, we have created the home license. Essentially, this means that for each license of MaxStat, the user may opt to run a license at home at no additional charge. That's right, FREE!

Simply download a copy of MaxStat and create a new unlock code by choosing the Home License option from the Registered User's section of the web site.

Keep in mind that each machine that runs MaxStat must have a license except in cases where a user has a copy at work and wishes to run it at home as well.

TCCRadius Licensing

License

Many Radius systems have convoluted licensing schemes and often charge on a per NAS or per port basis. While this affords lots of money for the software makers, this often makes it difficult for small-medium ISPs to afford a good solid Radius.

At TCCSoftware, we simply charge per server. For each computer running a copy of TCCRadius, one license is required. Not per NAS, not per port, simply per server.

In order to offset development costs and encourage growth in TCCRadius, we have chosen to go with a Software Subscription program.

Software Subscription

The Software Subscription Program allows our customers to show us support by partnering with us and encouraging support and development on our software products.

Customers that participate in the Software Subscription program will receive updates to TCCRadius as they are released (estimated every quarter). Minor and major updates are included as part of the program. The Subscription program also includes an optional CD-ROM with the latest demo and release software available every subscription cycle.

Customers that do not participate in the Software Subscription program will have to buy another license to receive updates to the software as new features are added. Of course, they can always login and download the original version of the product that they purchased.

Software Subscription Technical Support

The Software Subscription Program provides for four (4) hours of technical support for registered users. This does not include custom programming or scripting.

Length Of The Software Subscription

The Software Subscription is good for One Year from the purchase date of the product. The expiration date can be found in the Registered Customer's section of the web site.

New customers have 30 days from the date of purchase to option into a Software Subscription.

Subscription Renewal

The Software Subscription may be renewed at any time for the following year until 30 days after expiration. All customers will receive an email when their subscription expires.

Developmental License

In many cases TCCRadius users need a developmental version of TCCRadius for testing. Registered Customers can run a developmental version of TCCRadius on their network for testing without buying an additional server license.

This allows for easy product testing of new versions before going into production with new code.

In fact, we highly recommend that all users test any new versions of TCCRadius on developmental servers before putting them into production.

RealTime Aide License Agreement

You should carefully read the following terms and conditions before using RealTime Aide software. Your use of this software indicates your acceptance of this license agreement and warranty.

One licensed copy of this program may reside on a single domain name (www.yourcompany.com) or sub-domain (www.subdomain.yourcompany.com), in use by a single Web site. For each installed instance of the program, a separate license is required..

Site Licenses are Available

Site licenses are available for companies who wish to use Personal Edition across multiple sites. Site Licenses are available for 10, 25, 50, 100 domains/sub domains. Contact us with your specific requirements.

Software Modification Restrictions

Registered users may alter or modify this software, at their own risk, of course, but only for their own use. They may also hire others to modify their own copy of the code, as long as the code is not transferred to or retained by the individual who is hired (unless he/she is also a license holder). Although license-holders may modify the code for their use, modified code may NOT be resold or distributed.

Display of Copyright and "Powered By" Notices Required

All copyright notices used throughout the program, within the scripts and within the HTML that the scripts generate, MUST remain intact. Furthermore, these notices, including "powered by" wording that appears online, must remain visible to the human eye. Your acceptance of this agreement also permits RealTime Aide by TCCSoftware to list your Web site in promotional materials and/or on our Web site, unless a special agreement is made prohibiting such use.

Refunds

License, installation, and support fees are refundable only if customer pays RealTime Aide by TCCSoftware to professionally install the program and RealTime Aide by TCCSoftware fails to properly install it. Such requests must be made within 30 days of purchase. A failed professional installation by RealTime Aide is the only circumstance under which a refund will be given.

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

If the agreement is violated in any manner, the license may be revoked at the discretion of RealTime Aide by TCC Software, at any time. There are no refunds given for revoked licenses. Revocation of license is at the sole discretion of RealTime Aide by TCCSoftware.

Disclaimer of Warranty

THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OR MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.

RealTime Aide by TCCSoftware is not liable for any conduct associated with messaging service activity, nor for any messages sent using this program.

The user must assume the entire risk of using the program. ANY LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE. Failure to install the program is not a valid reason for requesting a refund of the purchase price, nor is failure to ensure that the program meets the user's requirements.
